Camryn Elizabeth Grimes born January 7, 1990 is an American actress. Camryn is the daughter of Preston Lee and Heather Grimes. Camryn has six siblings, four sisters and two brothers.  She was well known for her role as Cassidy Ann "Cassie" Johnson Newman on The Young and the Restless, which she started portraying in 1997, winning a Daytime Emmy for her work in 2000, becoming the youngest winner to get a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series, at age 10, beating Kimberly McCullough who won at age 11. In May 2005, Grimes' character was written off the show when she died from injuries sustained in a car accident. This storyline earned the show a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team. Since departing the show, she has occasionally made guest appearances when a scene requires the presence of Cassie's spirit, in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. She appeared twice in 2012 in flashbacks.  Camryn played the part of Holly in the 2001 movie Swordfish alongside Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, and John Travolta. She has guest-starred on Medium, AG, and ER. Her maternal uncle, Scott Grimes, was a regular on the latter.
