Personal Life

Hailey Anne Nelson born September 14, 1994 is an American actress. She was born in the West Hills section of Los Angeles to producer and former actress Leslie K Nelson. Her family relocated to Memphis, where she attended Hutchison School.  In 2004, Nelson was asked to a celebrity reader for the induction ceremonies of Dr. Seuss as his wife accepted his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She along with Spencer Breslin, Alyson Stoner, Cole Sprouse, and Dylan Sprouse read from the classic One Fish Two Fish. Nelson is an animal rights activist and vegetarian. With help from Walk the Line castmate and friend Ridge Canipe, she wrote and issued a vegan cookbook for children by PETA.  She has a strong, mellifluous singing voice, making several appearances at major sports venues, where she has opened the games by singing The National Anthem for as many as twenty thousand people. To date she has sung for every sports league except NFL.
