Mayu Watanabe 渡辺 麻友 Watanabe Mayu born March 26, 1994 in Saitama Prefecture is a member of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48, under Team B. She debuted with AKB48's Team B and has been featured on most of the group's singles title tracks. She is a member of AKB48's subgroups Watarirouka Hashiritai, Team Dragon, and NO NAME. She has also released four solo singles.

She auditioned for AKB48 and was placed in the newly formed Team B. Her first appearance on an AKB48 single title track was on "Bingo!". With the exception of singles whose lineups were determined by rock-paper-scissors tournaments, she has appeared on all the A-sides for the group's singles since then. In 2009, she placed fourth overall in the group's general election to determine the line-up for the group's 13th single. She placed fifth overall the next year for the group's 17th single.

She appeared on the cover of the December 2010 issue of UP to boy magazine together with Airi Suzuki from Cute. That was the first gravure collaboration between Hello! Project and AKB48. On May 13, 2011 she released her photo book, Mayuyu. She commented that the book "is filled with a lot of expressions that I haven’t shown until now, it’s a book I’m really pleased with!” Regarding her nude cover picture, she said, “Despite being embarrassed, I did my best on the front cover, so I want a lot of people to look at it!” In an episode of the group's variety show AKBingo!, Mayuyu and Haruka Shimazaki's nickname "Paruru" were coined by former teammate Rumi Yonezawa. For AKB48's general election in 2011, she placed fifth overall.

In her last year of college, she concentrated solely on her studies. In March 2009, she graduated from Meiji University.

When she was young, Inoue's hobbies include playing badminton and basketball, Japanese dance, music, and oil painting. Now her hobbies centered on listening to music, painting and photography. Her paintings and pictures are mostly nature and her pet dog. She also came to love playing golf in her spare time. She also loves animals; she has a pet Boston Terrier named Hug. In early 2005, Ohgo debuted in her first major film, Kita No Zeronen (北の零年?, a.k.a. Year One in the North), directed by Isao Yukisada, with the well-known actor Ken Watanabe, where she played the role of Tae Komatsubara. In December 2005, she debuted in Hollywood with Memoirs of a Geisha, directed by Rob Marshall, where she played the child version of the main protagonist Nitta Sayuri (the adult version is played by Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi). As a child, however, she is called Sakamoto Chiyo instead of Sayuri. During the same year, she also won the Japan Film Critics Award for Best Newcomer.

In 2006, Ohgo also starred in Baruto no Gakuen (バルトの楽園?, a.k.a. Symphony of Joy), which was released in June 2006 and is set during World War I, where she plays a girl of mixed German-Japanese heritage trying to find her German father who may be held there.

In 2008, she began lending her voice to anime in Michiko to Hatchin as Hana (AKA: "Hatchin"). She also provided the voice Kaita in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.

Yoshitaka made her acting debut in 2006. She was given the lead role in the live-action adaptation of Hitomi Kanehara's award-winning novel Snakes and Earrings in 2007. Portraying Lui, a teenager whose life goes into a downward spiral after meeting the forked-tongued and tattooed Ama, the role was Yoshitaka's breakthrough role. The Japanese public began to take notice of her, and in a poll conducted by Oricon, Yoshitaka was the fifth promising young actress of 2009 and 2009's freshest female celebrity. In 2010, Oricon again conducted a poll on the most promising actress and she managed climb up to top the poll.
Yoshitaka began to receive more work in 2008 as she appeared in Flow's music video "Arigatō" (ありがとう?, "Thanks"), was given her first lead role in the comedy drama Konno-san to Asobo (紺野さんと遊ぼう Let’s Play with Konno-san?) and took up the lead role in the film Yubae Shōjo (夕映え少女 A Girl in the Sunset?) before the theatrical release of her other lead film Snakes and Earrings.

In 2010, she starred as all three sisters in a short drama series titled Tofu Shimai (豆腐姉妹 lit. Tofu Sisters?). It was announced on May 13, 2010 that Yoshitaka was given her first lead role in a network television drama series called Mioka (美丘?), portraying a university student with an incurable illness.
She played Tae Kojima in the two-part 2011 live-action adaptation of the sci-fi and action manga Gantz. She also took the lead role in Kōji Maeda's movie Konzen Tokkyū, portraying a young woman dating multiple men in hopes of finding the right one to marry. It premiered in Spring 2011.

While she was preparing for her role in Snakes and Earrings, Yoshitaka was involved with a traffic accident in September 2007, and she suffered a fractured jaw. She stayed in the Intensive-care unit (ICU) for five days as a result.

Yumi Sugimoto 杉本 有美 Sugimoto Yumi?, born April 1, 1989 is a Japanese model, actress, gravure idol and soloist under Hello! Project. Sugimoto began her career in modeling during elementary school, when she was chosen in a Grand-Prix semi-audition for the girls manga magazine Ribon.
