Ai Hashimoto 橋本 愛 Hashimoto Ai born January 12th, 1996, in Kyushu's Kumamoto prefecture, Japan is a Japanese model and actress. She made her debut into the entertainment world after winning the grand prix in Newcome's HUAHUA Audition in 2008.
In 2009, she was one of 5,267 applicants to be selected from women's fashion magazine Seventeen's "Miss Magazine" competition, as well as the youngest grand prix winner out of her fellow competitors Kudo Emi, Takada Arisa and Hirose Alice.
In the same year, she made her acting debut with the film Give & Go, simultaneously landing her first starring role in the movie. She appeared in Confessions in 2010 and starred in The Kirishima Thing in 2012, for which she won new face awards from the Japan Academy and Kinema Junpo. She also appeared as Sadako in Sadako 3D
She represented by Sony Music Artists.She also appeared in a PV for a JUJU single.
