Hayley McFarland born March 29, 1991 is an American actress who is best known for her portrayal of the character Emily Lightman on the television program Lie to Me.

She was born on March 29, 1991, and grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma. She appeared in several theatrical productions as a child, including Titanic, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Sound of Music. For many years, she trained under Michelle DeLong at ACTS (Actors Casting & Talent Services), where she participated in such shows as, "Are You a Good Witch or a Bad Witch?". She has been cast in both television and movie roles. She has appeared in TV shows including Gilmore Girls, ER, and Criminal Minds, and films including Ring Around the Rosie, An American Crime, and Winged Creatures. She had a regular role on the multi-season television series Lie to Me.  She is featured in Above the Influence commercial "Human Puppet" as a girl under the influence who is drawn upon and made to look like a puppet. McFarland is also in a commercial for Rule the Air, for Verizon, and Television meet Internet, for Sony.
