Personal Life

Laura Slade Wiggins was born in Athens, Georgia is an American television and film actress and musician. She started performing in local theatre productions from an early age. From the age of 16, Laura began focusing on film acting and after graduating from high school she moved to the west coast to attend college and continue her acting career.

Outside of acting, she enjoys singing and playing acoustic & bass guitar in the band Dawn Soir, and also creative writing.

Wiggins made her television debut in 2006 in the TV film Not Like Everyone Else, and was in the television film Girl Positive. She has also appeared in the productions Dance of the Dead, Eleventh Hour, and in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation titled "World's End". Wiggins played a pregnant teenager in the an episode of the fourth season of Private Practice called "The Hardest Part" which aired on March 31, 2011. She appeared in the 2011 comedy film The Hit List.
