Maria Ehrich born 26 February 1993 in Erfurt is a German actress.  Director Peter Timm hired her in 2004 for starring in the TV movie A Mother for Anna. This was her debut for further appearances in films and on television. For her role in My Brother is a dog she was nominated in 2005 for the Undine Award for Best Film debutante.  As the daughter of the woman from Checkpoint Charlie, they received in 2008 the "Thüringer Film Award" from the Thuringian Ministry of Culture.
