Personal Life

Annie was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Germany. She grew up in Germany, near Kaiserslautern. As a child, she was impressed by famous singers and dancers, such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Joy Denalane, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige, and Aaliyah.

She started dancing hiphop/jazz in a serious manner at the age of 16. Being on stage and gaining experiences, Annie came to realize how amazing it was to perform for other people.

After her final secondary school examinations, she wanted to improve in dancing, and therefore joined a workshop arranged by the "stageschool of music, dance and drama" in Cologne. The workshop inspired her all out, so that by one very moment, she knew that the stage is her world and this would have always been the right thing for her to do.

Later on, she decided to take a break and to spend one year in her home country taiwan, in order to deepen her Chinese language skills and to gain some life experience. There she came into contact with people from all over the world and got to learn and to know about different cultures and their mentalities.

At the age of 20 she joined a rock band and had some performances with them.

In May 2006, she got to know about the casting tv-show popstars and decided to go there, in order to obtain a feedback of some experienced persons from the music business. She appreciates the opportunity to   have gotten into contact with a different world, relating to music-business and finally got to know more about herself and her tendencies, dreams and passions.

She has attended several dance jobs (i.e. presenting a new yorker fashion label at cocoon club in Frankfurt) and some workshops (i.e. D!'s dance workshops).

In the near future, she is going to study media management in Cologne.

Her main desire is to make music that she can identify with. She appreciates meaningful music and the most important thing for her is: to reach the audience.
