Bae Soo Ji   배수지 born October 10, 1994, commonly known by her stage name Suzy, is a South Korean idol singer, actress, model and MC. She is a member of the Korean girl group miss A, which debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2010.

Suzy was born in Gwangju, South Korea. she attended Seoul Arts High School. Before debuting, she was an online shopping mall model. In 2009, she auditioned for Mnet Superstar K and made it through the preliminary round but she was ultimately eliminated. However, she caught the attention of a scout from JYP Entertainment and soon became a trainee. After training for a year, she was paired with fellow members Fei and Jia and was set to debut in China. With the sudden addition of Min into the group, the foursome prepared to debut as miss A. She is the spokeperson of miss A.
