Mai Nishida 西田麻衣 born 23 Mar 1989 is a gravure idol from Kyoto. In 2006, Mai beat 3,000 contestant to win Japan talent agency Space Craft’s swimsuit competition. This was quickly followed by a debut in Weekly Young Sunday alongside famous gravure models Momoko Tani, Natsuko Tatsumi and Mui Yamaguchi. She has since released 11 gravure DVDs, 3 photobooks and her own pin up calendars for 2009 and 2010. Mai has also starred in various Japanese TV Shows such as Ranking Kingdom and Beach Angels, and has released 2 CDs Pink Generation and 31’s LOVE in 2007. In 2009, Mai appeared in 2 movies Teketeke テケテケ and Gurakin Queen グラキン★クイーン and in 2010 she is to appear in the movie 40-Year-Old Figure Skating Coach (COACH コーチ 40歳のフィギュアスケーター).
