Nao Minamisawa is a Japanese actress and former Victor Koshien poster girl. She was born on June 15, 1990 in Saitama City. She is currently represented by Sweet Power and is enrolled at Rikkyo University for psychology. According to an interview in the April 2008 issue of Nikkei Entertainment!, Minamisawa was recruited by entertainment industry scouts as early as 9th grade. However, she continued declining offers for about a year. It wasn’t until she watched actress Meisa Kuroki in the 2005 play “Azumi on Stage” that she was inspired to begin her own entertainment career.
