Personal Life

Jarrah Nari Korba born 30 April 1996, Elk Grove, Illinois, USA. She has been on Stage and in front of large audiences since she was 2 years old. At age 8, Jarrah landed the role of Fan and also Elizabeth Cratchit in "A Christmas Carol" (Equity) and was in 36 performances the first year. She than won the role again the following year, completing another 32 performances, and was chosen to sing a song from the show on the NBC Morning Show. Jarrah continued to be cast in Equity and Non-Equitystage productions every season since. She was reviewed favorably by "Stage Magazine" and "Chicago Parent" for her role as Helen Keller in "The Miracle Worker". This past year, she was in "Meet Me in St. Louis" and traveled with the show to perform in NY. Her favorite role to date was playing Baby June in Gypsy, in which she was able to utilize her acting, singing, tap, and gymnastic talents, all in one show!

Jarrah began her film career at age 8 when she was chosen from the 400 girls who auditioned for the Lead role of 'Kara' in the Independent Feature Film, 'Perilous Ties'. In the film Jarrah portrayed a young girl in a hostage situation, with the intensely dramatic moment of having a gun held to her head. It was a great experience for Jarrah to be at the AMC Premiere of her first film and hear the wonderful comments from the audience.

Jarrah was then cast as Young 'Catherine Moore' in the History Channel's, Violent Earth: New England's Killer Hurricane (2006) (TV) documentary. Jarrah had some dialogue with her mother in a scene that was shot in the Hemingway House in Chicago.

In the Independent Short film, 3:16 (2006), Jarrah plays 'Young Katie', a little girl who watches her Mother die from an epidemic that's killing off the population. Jarrah worked in this film with her brother, actor, Nicky Korba, who played the lead role of 'Cade' in the film.

Jarrah worked on _Poker House,The (2008)_, as a stand in for actress, Chloë Grace Moretz and enjoyed the experience of working on the set with Director, Lori Petty.

Next, Jarrah was cast in reenactment scenes on the Weather Channel's _When Weather Changed History- Galveston Hurricane of 1900 (2008) (TV)_ as an 'Orphan', and was cast along with her brother, Nicky Korba, who also played an 'Orphan'.

Most recently, Jarrah appeared as 'Herself' in the Discovery Channel's, The Science of Sex Appeal (2009) (TV). She is seen as a young girl whose physical appearance morphs into a young woman.

With several Independent film roles, a few TV roles, TV news appearances, and theatrical Performances, Jarrah is ready for much more.
